Film Face Plywood

Base product is standard full birch veneer core with a phenolic resin infused paper heat pressed onto the surface. The result is a moisture resistant surface which is inseparable from the substrate.

Two basic versions are available

Film/Film (F/F)

Smooth on both sides, F/F was developed as a concrete forming panel. That remains its principal use, but it can be used in any application where strength, moisture resistance, and abration resistance is required.

Applications

Film/Wire (F/W)

Film/Wire is smooth on one side and textured on the other. It has the same strength and moisture resistance characteristics of F/F with the the added benefit of being non-slip.

Applications

In both versions the edges are factory sealed with an acrlyic sealant to minimize moisture ingress. Colour is chestnut brown. The standard film weight is 120g/m2 but wear resistance can be increased with the addition a extra layers of film to one or both sides.

Standard panel sizes are 4 x 8, 5 x 8 and 5 x 10. In thicknesses from 6.5mm to 30mm.

Melamine Coated (Riga Mel)

Riga Mel is standard birch plywood overlaid with a melamine film.

The product is glossy and smooth, hygenic, and easy to clean. This makes it ideal for furniture components, counter tops, display units, and store fixtures.

Standard panel sizes are 4 x 8, 5 x 8, 5 x 10 in thicknesses from 9mm to 35mm. Colours-white and light grey.
