Thomes Canada is one of the leading importers of Baltic Birch products from Russia to North America, Europe and Asia.
Our company was founded in 1963 in cooperation with our Finnish partner - trading company “Thomesto OY”, dealing primarily with specialized wood products from Finland.
By 1987, capitalizing on Thomesto OY’s network in the Soviet Union, our focus shifted progressively to Russian plywood products.
Today Thomes Canada Ltd. is working closely with its partner VLC, which is based in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Both companies share their marketing activities – Thomes Canada is directly responsible for North American import and export activities, while VLC services the markets outside North America.
We have well established contacts with the best producers located across Russia and are constantly working on expanding the number of our suppliers. This allows us to create an extensive product selection and to offer you the best possible delivery options. In cooperation with VLC we provide our products to our wholesale distributors around the world.
